Bruce Willis Painting

Here's my 'final'. Not really finished but I'm out of time, I'll have to finish it off at a later date. I used the direct painting method, with red-orange, green and blue as my split complementary palette. Let me know what you think.

Great worked - you've totally got the likeness - the mouth is spot on! I like the painterly background too!

this is my favorite in terms of likeness. The colors are nice and rich and smooth. I think the small cranium and big jaw is the key to a likeness, makes him look more like a gorilla.

Agree with Kelly on the rich colors - definite harmony here. Nice painterly touches too!! Nice work!

Nice job Dan! I think Bruce would approve:) On that note... it's Bruce Willis' birthday next week! We created a group birthday card for him. I think it would be great if you signed it and added your art to the card. I'm sure he'd love to see your depictions of him. We will be sending the final card to his publicist on the 19th.
Please feel free to invite other artists to sign as well.
