*sigh*

I am working on lesson 4 for Jason's class and am not pleased with how things are coming out... I'm just in the thumbnail and sketching phase and am still unsure...

Kathy was the most fun to draw, although a bit of a struggle also. I think I have the most likeness with her, though.

I'm pretty certain I am not working on Matthew... he's got a great face but I don't think I am capturing the character much.

Right now I am leaning towards the beardman, I had the least trouble with him (the likeness isn't there yet, I was more focusing on structure).

These are great! If there's one thing I learn't from Jasons class it's to do as many thumbnails / quick sketches as you can - & then work up the best of these! Super work!

I agree with Tim...don't be so hard on yourself. I wasn't happy with a lot of my sketches in the course, but in the end I was surprised just how much I learned.

As in all things, practice makes perfect. Keep at it and don't get discouraged.

I think you are on the right track with Kathy. Kathy looks like she would be easy to draw because she has very pronounced features, but I found I couldnt capture her likeness even when I traced over her face. There is a lot of subtlety in her face.
