I sort of just picked Russell Crowe out of the hat because I couldnt think of anyone famous I was personally interested in and I thought he had easy generic face which to draw. But it turns out he has a lot going on in his facial features. As usual Im starting out portraity to get to know his face, I think I should be able to think of a way to make him look funny for the final drawings.

Nice sketches. I like the third along top row best. Russell Crowe in gladiator was on my short list too.
His chin is a good start for exaggerating, make it look like a butt! :-)
