Father's Day Private Commission

Client hired me to do this one for her husband for Father's Day, a gift from her and her three boys, professionally matted and framed for his office. Wanted it to kind of look like a portrait, rather than an action shot, all part of the joke. Client was very happy as was the recipient. In fact, the recipient called me up to tell me how much he liked it, and asked me to drop off some business cards at his office next time I was in the area. He has a lot of clients that will see it, figures there will be a lot of interest, and he wanted to be able to tell people who did the work.

It's been hanging in his office for a week. Sure enough, I got my first referral inquiry from it yesterday afternoon. Never underestimate the power of word of mouth. And of course, always be nice to your clients.

Superb. You've blended the caricature and background seamlessly. You've got likeness, caricature and believability.

I definitely agree! It's perfect. Really great colors and lighting in this illustration. I'm Loving the background and the golf clubs the most.
