Cereal Monster

This is an image I'm working on for a promotional piece and a possible idea for a childrens book. Wanted to post it and see what others think of it.

The classes at schoolsim have helped so much. I've taken all three classes so far and already signed up for the storyboarding class. Each class helps you grow as an artist and forces you to open your mind to new ideas and new ways of thinking and working.

You've taken all three classes?! WOW...you're quite the slacker. :)

That's a great image, I could definitely see that in a children's book. Really cute and great rendering.

Nice Steve . . . . . looking really good. If you don't mind a small critiq . . . . the girl could use a little more work in the "realism dept." The monster feels more natural in it's enviroment then the little girl does . . . . maybe a little more work with shadows and what not? Great work!

Thanks for the comments.

I was thinking there was something off about the girl. Like she was floating a bit or something...I'll work on those shadows more and see if that ties her into the rest of the image better.

Thanks again.
