Marilyn as SINderella

Well here it is, I guess somebody had to be first to post their final piece so I'm going for it. I just sent it off, so it's too late to change now.

I feel ridiculously protective over this and think I will burst into tears if anybody criticises it, but its a hard world out there on the blog so I'm prepared for anything.

I've really enjoyed this course and think I'll probably get withdrawal symptoms now its over, I've really enjoyed talking to everybody on the blog and got some useful tips.

Hope I'll still be able to come up with new stuff to post, otherwise I guess we'll all meet up again at the ten year reunion.

Bye for now

Love the pose! I am nowhere near done with mine... forces seem to have conspired again to prevent me from having any time this past week. :-(

"Sinderella" ha ha, that would make a good movie. The hair looks good, the highlights on the pale looks good. Overall youve come a long way as have everyone in this course.

I echo your sentiments and hope everyone stays in toucha and keeps posting on this blog. Infact it might be a good idea to make an alumni blog so that old students can post a bunch of stuff without clogging up space for the current class.

Thanks guys, I'm really looking forward to seeing your pictures.
Great idea about the blog,we could start our own or ask Jason to get onto schoolism. It would be a really good incentive to keep drawing and painting without feeling you have to have a finished work every time.

I really don't think we need a new & separate blog, this one was setup for use by all former and current class members.

idragosani- I think of the main school blog as a place where we would want to post our really best stuff. I think we should have a secondary blog, not to take over the main school blog, but just a place to post work were not sure about or post more chatty type stuff. I just have a feeling were going to lose contact with people if we dont have a more casual blog to post stuff.

arquebus -- yes, understood... but when this blog was originally created (last November or so, as several of us had requested), it was so class members who had finished up a class could still keep in touch and post new artwork, as well as helping newer members in current classes by providing feedback on new assignments. I think having a second blog will end up with many of us doing double posts anyway, so it would just be redundant.

Cool job man! I like the narrative. You have come along way from the beginning of this course. Keep it up!

I agree. Nice concept and execution. I'll post wherever. Let me know if you start another blog or if everyone will keep using this one.

Richard- If you would like to open up a blogger.com blog that will server as a sub-unit to the official schoolism blog, I will post there. Because my skill is nowhere good enough for me to post my work as a stand alone on this blog. But Id still like to be able to post little experimental paintings and doodles to see what you guys think every once in a while.

Brad,
I will set up a blog anyway, I think I know how, and then email folks on the schoolism email system when it is active, then anybody who wants to can post and those who dont needn't.It would give me some incentive to keep up the work without feeling I have to do a masterpiece each time. If we do produce anything half decent then it can go on schoolism blog anyway. Can't see there's anytrhing to lose.
